Серцево-судинні ускладнення є основною причиною смертності хворих на цукровий діабет (ЦД) 2-го типу. У статті наведено дані про механізми та особливості розвитку ішемічної хвороби серця (ІХС) у хворих на ЦД 2-го типу. Представлено та проаналізовано особливості лікування хворих на ІХС та ЦД 2-го типу
